Kitchen Products that I like

I just wanted to share a few of the products that I like to use in my kitchen. Better Life dish soap to handwash dishes, even though it is not as grease cutting as traditional dish soaps, I know that I am using a safe product for my family.

Homemade Organic White Bread!!

This is a very basic, very easy, organic bread recipe. My family loves bread, and we have a very difficult time finding organic bread that actually tastes good. My kids didn't care for the wheat bread that I posted about before, but they LOVE this bread! It tastes just like that old fashioned homemade bread that you love to eat hot out of the oven! AND.....it only has five ingredients!!

Easy Non-Toxic DIY Foaming Soap

This is so easy to make, very cost effective, and most of all, a safe hand soap for you and your family.
I have re-used foaming pump containers from previous purchased products, but you can buy empty foaming soap containers from Amazon, TJ Maxx, Ross, and many other places.

Affordable Safe Soaps

I have been on a journey to make our home safe and toxic free. However, the price of most products has made it very difficult. I have been searching for affordable but safe options.

Most bar soaps are full of toxic chemicals and fragrances linked to: Developmental/reproductive toxicity, Allergies/immunotoxicity, Irritation and/or Organ system toxicity.

The price for a bar of handcrafted soap can be from $5-8 each. I splurged on a few bars, but just couldn't continue to buy them.

Eco-Green Changes in the Kitchen

Choose to use Glass, Stainless Steel and wood as much as possible. I have found many great Glass options at Target, Walmart, K-mart and Amazon. Anchor Hocking is made in the USA and a great option for storage, and serving items. However, any clear glass is a great option, just be sure it is NOT lead crystal.
